AutoCult
Contexte. En 2021, dans le cadre de mes recherches pour Car Design Archives, j’ai interviewé le designer industriel et automobile Robert Broyer. Durant cette entrevue, nous avons parlé de la Ligne Flèche —le tout premier concept-car de l’histoire de Renault— qu'il avait conçue au Style Renault en 1962. Il m’avait alors confié son désir de la voir reproduite en miniature. Après de nombreux pourparlers avec des fabricants, c’est l’Allemand AutoCult qui a fini par répondre à l'appel.
Backstory. In 2021, as part of my research for Car Design Archives, I met the industrial and automotive designer Robert Broyer. During that interview, he confessed to seeing his Ligne Flèche, the very first concept car in Renault’s history, reproduced in reduced scale. I began discussions with various companies, and it was ultimately the German firm AutoCult that responded to the call after several months.
